WHAT: Jet arrives to save Kokichi from a drone and discovered a severely dehydrated Martin and unconscious teen. Later, Lalo arrives with a cooler of water and food.

"Lucky you got here." Very lucky, in fact. A few more hours, and Martin suspects they would have found a corpse in the cell. There... still might be one soon. He really doesn't want a teenager to have to deal with that. Maybe children can be just as awful as adults, but Martin's only human, and that looks like a beat up, skinny kid to him.

"Anything useful?" He flops a hand toward the bits of drone.

"Nnnnope! Unless you're a genius inventor and can do something with those parts." But he's not holding his breath. Presumably, that kind of useful skillset would have been mentioned by now. "It's a real shame, too. I really wanted some of those insta-knockout drugs. I could have a loooot of fun with something like that!"

Or, y'know, have a good defense in case of emergency.

"No." To both of those things. Please don't be a menace when he's dying Kokichi. "What about the computer?" That doesn't seem to be in pieces, which is probably a good thing. He's tech savvy enough for some light hacking, but much more than that and he's well at a loss. Certainly on the hardware side.

He's a constant menace to everyone, and you're not dying. Suck it up.

"Nada. No clue anywhere, no particularly worn keys..." He blows a raspberry, shrugging heavily. "It's super lame. I really wanted to see what kind of dirt they had on that thing."

Martin huffs out a harsher breath. "Of course." Irritation. All of this, some potential answers at their fingertips, and they have no way of accessing them. "Sol called the drones 'guardians'... how many characters for the password?"

It might not be important. But it might be very important.

"No idea! I'm not gonna just type stuff in randomly. I mean, what if it was rigged to self-destruct after too many wrong passwords or something?"

He's acting dramatic as always, but the worry is sincere. Not necessarily about surprise explosions, of course, but he wouldn't be surprised if there was some kind of failsafe in place that'd wipe the computer completely clean if someone tried to get into it too clumsily.

There's a moment of silence. "Okay. Yeah. That's fair considering... all this." Disappointing, though. He struggles to think for a little bit. "What about the drones? They're... they opened the doors automatically. Is there any way to... plug them in? Maybe a direct interface would... bypass the password?"

Kokichi shrugs.

"Didn't notice anything like that," he says, dismissive. "Besides, I don't think they're smart enough to be using a computer. They're obviously not, like, real AI, y'know? Otherwise the drone wouldn't have settled for just grabbing one of us when it found me and Mr. Jet and Mr. Ben. It could have stunned and knocked us all out and then just made multiple trips. I bet the programming's more like if you find someone then grab them without accounting for situations with more than one target."

"Not... intelligent AI. Sure." Martin doesn't know nearly enough about this to have more of an opinion. Maybe Sasha would. The real Sasha? He still can't picture her, years later, just the thing that had taken her over. But he thinks the original Sasha was interested in computers.

"Maybe there's a clue to the password in what Sol was telling me. He's, um... he's someone here. Maybe on another island. When I didn't think I was going to make it out, I-I just started calling different callsigns. Sol answered. They mentioned some sort of religion that the drones were part of. I didn't get much, though. I don't think Sol has the password, but the religion his friend follows could be something to follow-up on.
